I totally am! Just finished up a special forensic nursing program this year (graduated with my BScN in '05) so I've definitely acquired a great collection of articles/journals and texts.

Anything in particular forensic-wise that you're interested in? If so, I'll go through my stuff and see what I can recommend.

Im very interested in working on forensic units in state hospitals or in prisons. I am really just curious what is out there I know there is some info in the psych journals but not specific to nurses.

Not sure if you're aware of this or not, but there is actually a specific journal related to forensic nursing (Journal of Forensic Nursing) which would narrow the scope of things you may have come across in psych journals. IAFN (International Association of Forensic Nurses) members can access it as it is included in their membership:

But since you're a student, I am pretty sure your school library would have it or even provide online access to it (personally, I use the school online library access to browse through journals because I find it easier). I'd suggest doing a basic search through that journal first to see if anything sparks your attention outside of anything you've come across already!

Thanks for the information. I will check it out. Unfortunatley our school is very small and does not have the on-line journals. But, I will check it out at another college site. Thanks again.
